Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the IFCNexus web service. By signing in or purchasing a subscription you accept them.

1. Parties and scope

The service is operated by MARFEN Mühendislik Tasarım ve Danışmanlık – Mahmut TARI ("MARFEN", "we"). Address: Şehitler Mah. 416. Sk. No: 2 İç Kapı No: 1, 41650 Gölcük / Kocaeli, Türkiye. E-mail: info@marfen.com.tr.

IFCNexus is intended for professional and business users (steel fabricators, detailing offices, engineering firms); it may not be used by persons under 18.

2. The service

IFCNexus generates steel assembly fabrication details as dimensioned strip sheets in DXF and PDF from IFC models you upload (primarily Tekla Structures IFC2X3/IFC4 exports).

Supported input and output formats, paper/scale options and limits are stated in the app and on the landing page and may change as development continues.

3. Account

Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity under it. Accounts may not be shared beyond the number of users included in your plan.

You can delete your account at any time with the "Delete account" button in the app or by writing to us.

4. Free trial and plans

The free trial requires no card and is limited to 1 model and 5 assemblies in total.

Monthly model and assembly quotas of paid plans are shown in the pricing table. When a quota is reached, generation pauses until the next billing period or you upgrade. Quotas are for fair use; scripted bulk use and resale require written permission.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payments are collected by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). The purchase contract is concluded between you and Paddle; Paddle's buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) also apply. Paddle issues the invoice.

Prices are in US dollars; VAT/sales tax is added at checkout according to your country. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period; the remaining time is not refunded (except as set out in the Refund Policy).

Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the next period. Price changes are announced by e-mail at least 30 days in advance.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the service only for lawful purposes and for models you are entitled to use.

• Reverse engineering, attempting to access source code or circumventing security measures,
• uploading malware or files intended to disrupt the service, automated request flooding,
• reselling the service or offering it to third parties as a service without written permission

7. Inputs, outputs and intellectual property

Models you upload and sheets we generate belong to you. You grant us only the limited processing licence needed to provide the service. We do not use your data for model training and do not share it with anyone except the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.

The IFCNexus software, interface, drawing rules, documentation and brand belong to MARFEN.

8. Engineering responsibility

IFCNexus is a drawing generation tool; it is not the designer of record, checking engineer or fabrication supervisor. Generated sheets must be checked by a qualified engineer or detailer before being used for fabrication.

Errors, missing mark/number data or unsupported geometry in the input model may carry over to the output. We do not warrant conformity of the sheets with any particular standard, code or client requirement.

9. Service level and changes

The service is provided "as is"; we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change the service and add or remove features for maintenance and development.

If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused prepaid time pro rata.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MARFEN is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, fabrication errors or business interruption.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Liability for intent and gross negligence and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time; your data is erased within the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.

12. Data protection

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply; the courts and enforcement offices of Kocaeli (Gölcük) have jurisdiction. Mandatory rights of users who qualify as consumers under the laws of their country of residence remain unaffected.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by e-mail or in-app notice and the current version is published on this page.
